The Pharmaceutical companies spent millions lying about this bill trying to convince people that the government should not be allowed to negotiate to get lower prices for medicines under Medicare and all the Republicans voted against it.
But in the following years seniors will benefit from lower drug costs and will never face
out-of-pocket drug costs that exceed $2000 annually.
At the same time, millions not yet of Medicare age will see their premiums lowered under the Affordable Care Act.
