Caucus to select Delegates and Alternates to the First
and Tenth Congressional District Conventions has been
CANCELLED
Pursuant to the rules of the Caucus, the
Fauquier County Democratic Committee has chosen the following
Delegates and Alternates to attend the respective May conventions:

10th CD Call to Caucus
For those who have not accessed the call
on the 10th CD
or DPVAwebsites,
here is the call to the 10th
Congressional District Convention. To date, 15 statements
of candidacy for the 5 national delegate and 1 national
alternate slots allocated to the 10th District have been
received, plus 2 statements of candidacy for the 10th District
Elector. The deadline for filing for 10th District national
delegate slots and 10th District Elector with Rich Galecki
is 7:30 PM, May 2, 2008. The deadline for filing for at-large
national delegate, Democratic National Committee member,
or at-large (statewide) Democratic Elector slots with the
state party is 5:00 PM, June 2, 2008. There are also deadlines
in the call for sending along resolutions and for applying
for seats on the permanent credentials and rules committeess
for the state convention.
