There are many events for the 2008 election year that require form submissions. Click on the appropriate link below to download the form(s) required.

 

FCDC Caucus Cancelled

The April 19th Fauquier County Caucus to select Delegates and Alternates to the First and Tenth Congressional District Conventions has been CANCELLED

Pursuant to the rules of the Caucus, the Fauquier County Democratic Committee has chosen the following Delegates and Alternates to attend the respective May conventions:
 
1st Congressional District Delegates:
Senator Clinton Delegate: Suzette Matthews
Senator Clinton Alternates: No Alternate Chosen
Senator Obama Delegates: Conway Porter, Anita Jaramillo, Rebecca Jaramillo McCullough, William S. Day, Jr
Senator Obama Alternate: John Jaramillo
 
10th Congressional District Delegates:
Senator Clinton Delegates: No Delegate Chosen
Senator Clinton Alternate: No Alternate Chosen
Senator Obama Delegates: Richard Galecki, Margaret M. Richardson, John L. Richardson
Senator Obama Alternates: No Alternate Chosen.
 
Congratulations to the Delegates and Alternates. They will be contacted with information on the specifics of their District Conventions.

10th CD Call to Caucus

For those who have not accessed the call on the 10th CD or DPVAwebsites, here is the call to the 10th Congressional District Convention. To date, 15 statements of candidacy for the 5 national delegate and 1 national alternate slots allocated to the 10th District have been received, plus 2 statements of candidacy for the 10th District Elector. The deadline for filing for 10th District national delegate slots and 10th District Elector with Rich Galecki (see information below) is 7:30 PM, May 2, 2008. The deadline for filing for at-large national delegate, Democratic National Committee member, or at-large (statewide) Democratic Elector slots with the state party is 5:00 PM, June 2, 2008. There are also deadlines in the call for sending along resolutions and for applying for seats on the permanent credentials and rules committeess for the state convention.

Persons interested in filing for Elector for one of the two congressional districts or as a state at-large Democratic Elector please fill out the form below and send it to:

Persons interested in filing at both the district level and for the State Convention, please fill out the form twice or copy it and send one copy each to the appropriate congressional district address and to the State Party address.

Persons filing for Elector at the district level must file on or before 7:30PM, May 2, 2008 with the chair of their congressional district Democratic Committee (Rich Galecki or Suzette Matthews, as appropriate). Persons filing for Elector at the State Convention must file on or before 5:00PM, June 2, 2008 with the State Party.
